Your file speaks before you do
By the time a conversation happens, much of the impression has already formed from documentation. Consistency and completeness carry more weight than presentation.
Requirements vary by provider. Nothing here is a promise about any specific decision, amount, or rate — those are set solely by the provider.
Common areas of review
Time in business and entity documentation. Revenue consistency across recent months. Bank activity, including average balances, deposit patterns, and negative days. Existing obligations and how they are serviced.
Where applicants lose ground
Incomplete statement periods, unreconciled books, revenue figures that do not match deposits, and applying broadly without understanding the criteria being applied.
Preparing well
Assemble a full, current package before you apply anywhere. Reconcile the books. Be able to explain any irregularity in one sentence. Then evaluate options deliberately rather than reactively.
